Our Story

Our travel group wanted to find a way to positively impact the community where we were going to vacation. Some of us had previously traveled to Jamaica and were shocked at the disconnect between the uber-rich resorts and the impoverished locals in the area. We googled the school in Negril, contacted Principal Suckra, and got a list of supplies that the school needed.

We carried them everything from first aid kits and toiletries to tea kettles and a microwave, as well as pens, paper, markers, folders etc. Upon arrival we spoke to the kids and after a few face to face conversations with the teachers we discovered that the school has no sponsors, even though it sits within walking distance of some of the most lavish resorts in the world.

We took it upon ourselves to form this nonprofit to become their sponsor and supply the school yearly as well as mentoring the students through our 7 mile initiative. Our efforts will extend to wherever we see there is a need of assistance to the underprivileged through our TeamUs (Teach, Empower, Assist, Motivate, Uplift, and Strengthen) Initiative.
